Vintage George Gasper Sterling Silver & Turquoise Zuni Flower Rosette Ring

This ring is from around the 1970s to 1990s, during the Southwestern jewelry boom. The artist attributed to this simple and timeless Zuni flower rosette ring is George Gasper, a Zuni Pueblo. His work in this ring shows a classic example of mid-century lapidary work that features hand-cut teardrop turquoise stones, set flush in a split shank floral formation.The  stone matrix is aged and the silver patina is authentic. Because the ring is stamped ZUNI G A S, it leads to the provenance and serves as an example of the Gasper family's contribution to the classic rosette cluster style.
