Gemstone: Justin Morris (1948–2023) was a highly celebrated Navajo silversmith renowned for his traditional, handcrafted Southwestern sterling silver jewelry. Inspired by his grandfather, Grandpa Bitchittti, Morris was entirely self-taught and began refining his jewelry-making skills in the mid-1960s. Over a career spanning more than 50 years, he built a global following, transitioning from wholesaling to selling his pieces directly to collectors at regional markets. Before establishing his family business, he worked as a government instructional aide at the Dilcon Boarding School. Hallmark: Justin Morris Sterling (etched on inside see photo.)
