Antique European 800 Silver Floral Spray Hubbell Glass Brooch Trombone Clasp
This gorgeous silver-toned antique floral spray brooch is decorated with vibrant faceted turquoise cabochons and arranged like blossoming flowers. Because it's very hard to read the hallmark, which does lie at the back underneath the pin, it's impossible to tell exactly what purity of silver it is; however, it is silver and has been magnet tested. The textured leaves and clusters have the characteristics of late Victorian, Art Nouveau, or mid-century revival botanical motifs. No stones are missing, and the European trombone safety clasp is in excellent mechanical working order. The tip of the pin is gold-toned and is typically brass or a copper-nickel base with a thin gold wash. Most likely produced between 1900 and 1930. 8g.
