The jeweler whose hallmark is the K on the inside of the bracelet is Kalakaua Gold, a known producer of traditional Hawaiian heirloom and floral-designed silver jewelry highly sought after by collectors of Pacific-regional and Hawaiian Heritage jewelry. The botanical designs featured in the panels are traditional heirloom motifs representing the natural landscape of the Islands. At a solid 39 grams, the bangle has held up extremely well and retained its circular shape, and will definitely feel substantial on the wrist. Most likely manufactured during the late 20th century, 1980s to the early 2000s.

Gemstone: The Leaves (Monstera/Lau Kape): The prominent split-leaf carvings represent the monstera plant, often called Lau Kape in Hawaii. In local Hawaiian culture and design, the monstera leaf is a symbol of prosperity, growth, and thriving abundance, owing to the plant's rapid, vigorous growth in island rainforests. The Flowers (Plumeria/Melia): The blossoms flanking the leaves are plumeria flowers. Recognizable by their rounded, overlapping five-star-petal shape, plumeria is widely used in traditional greeting leis. It symbolizes hospitality, warm aloha spirit, positivity, and new beginnings. And, iykyk, how divine their smell is.
